Supreme Court Undermines the Right to Vote

The Supreme Court's out-of-touch decision to allow the Trump administration's voter suppression initiative to continue is an affront to all Americans.

Nearly one-in-three Americans voted by mail in the last presidential election. It is a critical lifeline for rural, disabled and elderly voters who have difficulties making it to the polls.

President Trump’s scheme to undermine the right to vote is unconstitutional, authoritarian and designed to dissuade people from voting at all. We wholeheartedly condemn his executive order to restrict mail-in voting and call on states to continue to fight back against his cynical attempts to undermine the right to vote.
