OPEIU leads the way with coordinating multiple unions and locals across the country in support of Red Cross workers.

OPEIU recently held a rally in Washington DC with over 200 supporters.  Supporters included OPEIU, SEIU (from West Virginia), AFSCME, teamsters, CWA, and others. 

The reason for the rally is Red Cross national headquarters is trying to bust up the unions putting the blood supply at risk and replacing skilled workers with minimally trained workers.
