Michael Goodwin Re-Elected OPEIU President / Mary Mahoney Also Elected Secretary-Treasurer
Delegates to the 25th OPEIU Convention, held June 21-24, unanimously re-elected Michael Goodwin to his sixth term as International President of the Office and Professional Employees International Union. Former International Vice President Mary Mahoney also was elected as Secretary-Treasurer, a position she was appointed to in January following the retirement of Nancy Wohlforth.

OPEIU Grants Charter to Global Helicopter Pilots Association

New York, NY – The Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU), AFL-CIO, CLC, has granted a charter to the Global Helicopter Pilots Association (GHPA), effective October 27, 2009. The group will be known as GHPA, OPEIULocal 103.

Mary Mahoney Named OPEIU Secretary-Treasurer

New York, NY- The Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU), AFL-CIO, CLC Executive Board named Mary Mahoney to serve as Secretary-Treasurer, effective January 1, 2010, following the retirement of Nancy Wohlforth. The appointment was made at the Executive Board’s meeting in Miami, Florida in October 2009. Mahoney has served as a Vice President for Region II since 2001.
